Prince Hall

Dartmoor is famous for its Tors.  Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote the Hound of the Baskervilles in nearby Tavistock and featured Hound Tor. All eight rooms at Prince Hall country house hotel are named after local Tors, each possessing its own unique character and features.

Plush rooms, individually decorated and furnished to take advantage of their position and views.  Every room has its own romantic character and ambience.  A home from home feeling in a special Devon country house.  Chef’s own biscuits feature on the hospitality tray.  Most rooms have Super King beds with downy quilts, crisp, white cotton bed linen and even the occasional Four-poster.

The Moorland view rooms face south, with views across the ever-changing Dartmoor landscape for miles.  The Courtyard view rooms enjoy the same high-quality, having their own charming character.

Yestor:-
Very light and spacious, Super King or Twin beds, with en-suite bath and shower over, decorated with a blue and yellow theme.

Houndtor:-
The largest of the rooms having double windows overlooking the views making this extremely light with an original fireplace. Super King bed and Sofa (bed), and an en-suite shower room, decorated in a blue and yellow theme.

Saddletor:-
This is on the second floor having a green and cream theme with painted exposed beams.  Super King  or twin beds and sofa (bed) with en suite bath and hand held shower attachment.

Toptor:-
Mahogany Sleigh King size bed in a comfortable room with exposed beams, en suite bathroom with hand held shower attachment.
