These Booking Conditions form the basis of your contract with us so please read them carefully.Nothing in these Booking Conditions affects your normal statutory rights.
The price stated is for a week or short break for Prince Hall as described. The house will be available from 4pm until 11am on the day of departure. Please leave the property clean and tidy or you may occur a charge.
When you book you are accepting on your behalf of your party / group the terms of theses booking conditions. Once your deposit is received these booking conditions apply and form the basis of the contract between us.
The maximum number of guests that can be accommodated is 18 and this number includes children.
You can enter the venue from 4pm on the day of your booking and Check out is at 11am on the day of departure - Please make sure you don't leave personal belongings behind as we can not be responsible for them and do not keep items, The property is to be left in a clean and un damaged state with bins all being removed and all food items removed. Failure to depart by 11am on departure day will result in the lost of your damage deposit at the rate of £120 per hour. ( We are sorry but this is necessary as we have staff ready to enter and clean the house from 11am to get the property ready for our next guests who check in at 4pm)
Lost Keys are chargeable at £15 per key.
If, in our reasonable opinion, any person(s) is not suitable to continue the holiday because of unreasonable behaviour, damage to the property or danger to significant annoyance to others, the contract may be terminated, in which case we will have no further liability. In this event, you will remain liable to pay the hire price and no refund shall be due.
You will be liable for any damage caused in the property during the period of hire. We have the right to enter the accommodation (without prior notice if this is not practical or possible) if special circumstances or emergencies arise (for example if repairs need to be carried out)
We recommend you have holiday insurance incase of damage or any unforeseen issues with your vacation.
Due to the age and nature of the property it is not all accessible for wheelchair users. Guests should also take care as there are a number of features, that whilst adding to the character of the house, may be hazardous (such as uneven floor surfaces, low door ways on the higher floors and wooden window frames which can swell and stick) and good care should be taken. All endeavours will be taken to ensure that you are provided with free, uninterrupted Wifi service, We will not be liable however, if for any reason, the service is not available at any time, nor for any loss of data or damage to equipment you suffer as a result of using the service. We may suspend access at anytime and for any reason. The Wifi service we provide is intended to be uses for general purposes, including accessing the worldwide web and email. By accessing the service you undertake that you will use the service responsibly and that you will behave in a lawful, honest and proper manner. You may not; use the service for illegal purpose (including but not limited to breaching any intellectual property, copyright or computer misuse legislation and downloading or uploading any illegal material); send any unsolicited commercial email (or "spam") or any activity relating to it; carry out and "hacking" activities such as attempting to access systems without authorisation or carry out denial of service attacks.
Smoking or Vaping in the building is prohibited and will result in the lost of the damage deposit.
Please be aware of extra cleaning measures in place and the use of a disinfectant-fogging machine for staff and guests safety
Making your booking
A non refundable deposit of £600.00 is required at the time of booking and the remaining balance will be debited 21 days prior to arrival day and a £500 refundable damage deposit will be taken the week before arrival.
When you book the Property with us please supply your name and address together with your payment for the Initial Deposit.Please note that the Initial Deposit is only refundable if you cancel your booking within seven days of receiving our confirmation of your booking.
Your booking is made as a consumer for the purpose of a holiday and you acknowledge that no liability can be accepted for any business losses howsoever suffered or incurred by you.
Once the Initial Deposit has been received and accepted by us, we will issue you with our confirmation.The contract between us will only be formed when we send you our confirmation and is subject to these terms and conditions.We reserve the right to refuse any booking prior to the issue of our confirmation.If we do this we will promptly refund any money you have paid to us.
You should carefully check the details of our confirmation and inform us immediately of any errors or omissions.
Paying for your booking
You are required to send to us your payment for the balance of the Rental and the Security Deposit 21 days prior to the Arrival Date as set out in our confirmation. If you fail to make a payment due to us in full and on time we may treat your booking as cancelled by you.
If requested, we will hold the Security Deposit to be applied against the reasonable cleaning and/or replacement of the property, furnishings, fixtures and fittings.We will return the Security Deposit to you within 14 days of the return of the keys to us, less any deductions for breakages. We would request a Security Deposit for very large groups, stag parties etc.
If you cancel or amend your booking
If you need to cancel or amend your booking you must contact us as soon as possible.
You will also be required to confirm your cancellation in writing or by email to the addresses shown on our written confirmation.A cancellation will not take effect until we receive written confirmation from you.
If you cancel your booking within seven days of receiving our confirmation, we will refund the balance of any money you have paid us.After such period, if you cancel your booking more than eight weeks prior to the Arrival Date, we will retain the Initial Deposit and refund the balance of any money you have paid to us.
If you cancel your booking less than eight weeks prior to the Arrival Date, we reserve the right to retain the Initial Deposit and the Rental, but would refund the Security Deposit if applicable.In these circumstances we will refund the Rental (less any additional costs incurred) to you if we are able to secure an alternative booking for the Property.
If we cancel or amend your booking
We would not expect to have to make any changes to your booking, but sometimes problems occur and we may have to make alterations or even cancel bookings.
The property will be available on the requested date unless there is an an unavoidable or unpredictable problem that can not be resolved satisfactorily to enable you to enjoy the property as advertised to the expected standard. We cannot accept responsibility or pay any compensation or expenses where the performance of our contract with you is prevented or affected by unavoidable or unpredictable circumstances that, even with all due care, could have been foreseen or avoided. If this occurs and we have to cancel your booking we will refund all monies you have paid in full. We reserve the right to alter or withdraw amenities, which have either been advertised or previously available, without prior notice; where reasonably necessary due to repairs, maintenance and circumstances beyond our control.
The accommodation
You can arrive at your accommodation after 16:00 hours on the Arrival Date of your holiday and you must leave by 11:00 hours on the Departure Date. Depending on other bookings we may be able to adjust these times.
If your arrival will be delayed, you must contact us so that alternative arrangements can be made. If you fail to do so you may not be able to gain access to the Property. If you fail to arrive by midday on the day after the Arrival Date and you do not advise the contact of your anticipated late arrival we may treat the booking as having been cancelled by you.
If you have to cancel, let us know as soon as possible: cancellation charges are dependent on how far we know in advance of the course.
We wish we could offer a refund to all of those who ask us for compensation in relation to illness, family emergencies, bereavement, injury, etc. However, as a small business, we regret that we are not able to underwrite these kinds of costs and as such our policy is non-negotiable.
You agree to keep and leave the Property and the furnishings, kitchen equipment, crockery, glasses, etc. clean and in good condition. You agree not to cause any damage or to do anything that may be reasonably considered to cause a nuisance or annoyance to us or to any other occupier of adjoining or neighbouring properties.
You agree to take all necessary steps to safeguard your personal property. No liability to you is accepted in respect of damage to or loss of such property, except where the damage or loss is caused by our negligence.
You cannot allow more people to stay in the Property than expressly authorised, nor can you significantly change the makeup of the party during your stay in the Property.
If you do so, we can refuse to hand over the Property to you, or can require you to leave it. We will treat any of these circumstances as a cancellation of the booking by you.
You agree to allow us or any representative of ours access at any reasonable time during your stay for the purpose of essential repairs.
